Abuse is REAL. The resulting pain, shame & anger are also REAL. It is so easy to let what was said or done to us define what we believe about ourselves and about God. So, while we affirm the “what happened” in our stories; we also affirm that God is REAL, Jesus is REAL, and the Holy Spirit is REAL. We agree that the same power that rose Jesus from the grave, lives in us, making it possible to move another step in the Journey of Healing.
