The last line of a hymn says “Whosoever will, may come” talking of the salvation we can have through Christ. Is “Whosoever will, may come” the mindset of our Anabaptist churches? People are searching. Do they find us welcoming and caring? Do they see God’s love and acceptance in our churches? Do we help seekers navigate the cultural change? How do we get people to come in and how do we get them to stay?

The fields are white and ready to harvest. For nearly two millenniums, church planting is the way Jesus’ disciples have gone about reaping that harvest. The goal of this forum and retreat is to strengthen a vision for indigenous church planting around the world including church plants in or near North American cities. This gathering of church planters (and others who desire to be involved in church planting) encourages learning from each other and discourages competition and suspicion. It also provides a unique opportunity for church planters who are experiencing burnout or disappointment to receive fresh vision!
