Down Syndrome Weekend, also known as Trisomy 21. This syndrome is not about missing anything. It is about having something extra: an additional chromosome. Those of us who are blessed with a child who has this beautiful trait soon realize what a true gift they are in our lives. This weekend is a time to come together to meet, share stories, encourage one another, and build lasting friendships with others who understand this incredible journey.

Mentally Handicapped

God chose to bless your home with the gift of a mentally handicapped child. Many times, this journey feels thankless and lonely. You sense the need to create boundaries around yourself and your home because of the demands that your child brings, yet you and your family long for a social life and some sense of normalcy. You find yourself lacking answers for so much of this difficult journey that you’re asked to respond to. Join us for a weekend as we share hearts and encourage one another in ways to experience peace and rest in this special calling.
